Almond Facts, May-June 2021

Blue Diamond has a great start to the Sustainability journey and I’m excited to build upon what’s already been accomplished. It all starts with the story of our co-op. Our growers might be surprised to learn how much economic stability for farmers is discussed in Sustainability circles. Blue Diamond has a 111-year history of providing economic stability and higher returns for its members. The collective support that the co-op brings to both small and large farms is incredibly powerful, and that unique strength is living itself out in our CASP incentive program. Why is participation in CASP so important for Blue Diamond ? Customers and consumers are demanding that companies demonstrate sustainability, and CASP is the mechanism through which we will provide that validation.
