I have been
raised in the
Central Valley
where my family has had consistent
involvement in agriculture. With their
hands-on examples and coming
from an area so well known for
agriculture, I see myself returning
and establishing a career in the
economic and foreign affairs side
of the agricultural sector. The Central
Valley economy has been lagging
behind its fellow California regions;
thus, applying my knowledge of the
international market, I could help the
Central Valley realize its potential
by boosting its presence in the
global market.

I plan to and
will make a
difference in this world by improving
the mechanical engineering of
agriculture. My plans will benefit
society as I am the future of
mechanical engineering. Agriculture
needs to meet the new demands of
feeding nine billion people by the
year 2050, and this will happen to
people like me that are dedicated
to these needs and demands.
